Join our team of enthusiastic Fundraisers at Greenpeace Nordic! We are now looking for a full-time Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising activities in Norway and support our work across Nordic.

The fundraising department's key responsibility is to maximise income from individual donors by inspiring and engaging our donors and building effective committed relationships. As part of Greenpeace's values we do not accept money from governments, corporations or political parties. The Fundraising department's aim is to ensure a cost effective, ethical and sustainable fundraising base to meet the needs of Greenpeace in the Nordic region.
About the role:
This full-time position based in Oslo is responsible for managing the fundraising department of Greenpeace in Norway and for working closely with colleagues across Nordic to investigate, test and evaluate new Nordic fundraising initiatives.
The role’s responsibilities include strategic planning, budget preparation and management, leading a team of professional and experienced fundraisers to achieve income and expenditure targets, and creating a diverse and secure fundraising base. The role is also responsible for Greenpeace’s fundraising related relationships within Norway and has joint responsibility with the Programme Manager to ensure the overall smooth running of the Norwegian office.
About you:
At least 4 years experience in Fundraising leadership with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or other associated field and /or equivalent work experience
Significant experience in managing high volume fundraising programs (both acquisition and retention)
Ability to support and guide staff, inspire team spirit and resolve conflicts, communicate effectively by demonstrating strong listening skills, and negotiation skills
Capacity to manage multiple projects, work to a timeline, work with sensitive information, work with minimal supervision, deal with stressful situations and meet deadlines
Committed to furthering Greenpeace’s campaign goals as well as the organizational development of Greenpeace Nordic
Fluent in Norwegian, Excellent English
