Are you our next Front End Developer for Digital Dealer at Scania IT?
We are looking for a team-oriented Front End Developer who wants to join our team! Our product, Digital Dealer, is used by our retailers and service advisors all around the world. By using new modern technologies, we establish effective resale operations by providing accurate and optimized information to our service employees.
About the team
Our teams are cross-functional agile teams. To ensure that multiple teams can work on the same project but release different features independently, our backend services use a microservices architecture, while our front-ends are modeled as micro frontends.
• We believe in working from wherever you are awesome. You can work from home or in our Stockholm/Södertälje office, depending on your team and your personal needs.
• We use cloud-native technologies. Our applications can be independently scaled, continuously improved, and quickly iterated on through Kubernetes orchestration processes.
• Every team contains people with the roles and skills required to take business needs, transform them into technical requirements and continually deliver value to our end-users.
• We encourage collaboration and dialog, so everyone has a chance to contribute.
• We believe that pair/mob programming and code reviews are excellent ways to spread knowledge and keep the code base clean.
• We build sufficient automation tests to make sure every commit can be pushed to production without fear.
• We leverage observability tools to monitor our applications closely and provide insight for problem-solving.
Your responsibilities
• Architecting and build maintainable complex applications.
• Leading discussions in technical refinement, aiming to find the simplest possible solution for a complex problem with your team.
• Driving cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams.
• Mentor and training peers on design techniques and coding standards through code review, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices to provide innovative ideas and solutions to the project.
