Work description
We are looking for a Proposal Specialist that will work closely with the Sales Teams and support our sales activities across the Nordic region. The Proposal Specialist assists the Sales Team by managing and preparing formal proposals (RFPs/RFIs). The focus is on delivering high quality, strategic, client specific written proposals; often with a limited time frame in a deadline-driven environment. The Proposal Specialist will help to determine the strategic direction, vision and scope of the proposal; ensuring it aligns with the client goals and strategies. The Proposal Specialist will combine responses from cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization to create quality messaging to client questions about our offerings.
Candidate must excel at managing multiple projects, including coordinating resources, as well as reviewing final written drafts for consistent, accurate responses based on our style and industry standards. Candidate must be able to develop, edit, and maintain content designed to educate and inform clients.
Key responsibilities
• Interacting with the Sales Team to understand client strategy, as well as the company solutions and/or services being proposed
• Gathering proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals
• Preparing the proposal presentation by evaluating text, graphics, and binding; coordinating the final product
• Maintaining quality results by following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support database
• Obtaining approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project managers
• Being the point of contact for clients, internal teams, and partners.
Your profile
For this position, you need to be fluent in both Finnish and English. Knowledge of additional Nordic languages is meritorious.
You have a Bachelor's degree or more in relevant field or equivalent work experience and at least 2 years of experience in bid/proposal management. Furthermore, we prefer if you have experience in the health care industry as well as marketing experience.
Other requirements include:
• Excellent project management skills - planning, organizing, motivating, and managing resources
• Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy in written communication including proofreading skills and the ability to interpret complicated ideas into language easily understood by others
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet fluctuating deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
This position can be based either in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
