The assignment primarily aims to improve the process and tools our client currently uses to track and forecast the 1ERP project in a structural way. (1ERP is the major project/program our client has been running in the company to implement SAP globally.) You will start by taking input from the project leads and other key contributors from Digital/Finance/Purchasing, and quickly get a good grip of how things work, or don 't work.
The delivery expected for this assignment would enable sufficient control and good follow up on the project cost with the needed detail for project leads and finance. Meanwhile, the improved process and tools should be reasonably automated in a way that requires minimum effort in the run time mode for project leads and finance controller. Our client also would like you to give advice & input in how business and finance can structure the shared responsibility and joint efforts in the run time mode when the employees take over.
Key responsibilites
• Improve/simply the tools our client has - Take out granular level of details that don 't add sufficient value to justify the amount of admin work.
• Structure the future way of working - Automate the data flow from source system to the tools, with minimum manual adjustment, and train the persons to take over the tool in run time mode 3.
• Fill in potential gap in the cost follow up files - Fix the gap in the information flow if any, between where the program is today, and what is captured in the cost follow up and forecast tool.
This is a consultancy assignment for 3 months with a possibility of prolongation.
About you
Our client needs a very hands-on person, with the skills and mindset to establish/improve way of working, who preferably fulfils below traits.
• Good English
• Good communication
• Skilled in Excel;
• Knowledge and experience in BI tools and data queries is a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance from a global controlling function or similar environment; experience in IT project controlling and cost follow up is a plus.
Further, we would like you to have the following:
• University degree in Business Administration (major in finance or accounting) or equivalent
• Good knowledge in finance and Group consolidation
• Experience from an international environment
• Ability to plan, coordinate and execute work with many different stakeholders both in finance and business stake
About the employment
Start will be in the middle of August and last until middle of November initially.
