Job description:
The FLDP is a two year talent development programme within Johnson and Johnson. A full time role is offered on completion of this. Across the world, large numbers of Johnson & Johnson's key business leaders have graduated from the FLDP programme, ensuring that it has built solid reputation for developing top talent.
The programme provides recent graduates with an opportunity to experience varied rotational international assignments and advance their leadership skills through structured training. Participants work within the Johnson & Johnson companies, in disciplines such as operations accounting, financial reporting, sales and marketing finance, internal audit, and R&D finance. FLDP structured training provides exposure to many aspects of the Johnson & Johnson businesses, with special focus on developing the knowledge and skills to be an effective leader within Johnson & Johnson?s global enterprise.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Duties will vary depending on sector and department, however in the first year you will begin in the financial accounting team in MD&D Stockholm (located in Sollentuna), where typical responsibilities include:
• Independent preparation of entries / reports / schedules needed for accurate financial records
• Maintenance of an effective internal control framework around assigned responsibilities, closing and financial reporting activities
• Coordinating the monthly and quarterly close processes in partnership with Prague SSC
• Support SSC in Prague on various local rules
• Preparation of BS and P&L Reconciliations within area of responsibility and in accordance with the J&J WWP
• Assistance with accounting rules and coding to the Ariba group
• Responsibility for creation and maintenance of Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures within area of responsibility
• Preparation of documentation for financial, SOX, and tax audits
After the first year you will undertake a one year overseas business placement in the EMEA region (most likely within Europe). Typical other responsibilities for this year include budget management, project analysis, income statement reporting and process improvement projects.
During this program you will also receive six weeks structured training in the USA, delivered by global business leaders.
Qualifications & requirements:
We are looking for a high potential candidate who has completed a recognised University Degree qualification: Bachelors or Masters Degree.
You have between 1 and 2 years work experience but no more than 2 years in June 2015. Accountancy related work experience is desirable. You are committed to working within Finance and have clear reasons as to why you have chosen this career path.
Mobility is essential to complete the international assignment, it requires certain flexibility but also being eligible for employment in another European country.
As a person you have a proven ability to work under pressure. You have excellent and adaptable communication skills.
Fluency in Swedish or another Nordic language and English both spoken & written are essential.
