The primary responsibility of the Fast Trak Europe Leader role is to provide multifunctional leadership and strategic direction in a global group that oversees the global biopharma industry and provides application support in the form of process development, consulting and/or training to the industry and academia. The position is in a highly dynamic group and provides many opportunities for individual career development.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead the Fast Trak team in the EMEA region, which includes 2 sites: Uppsala (Sweden) and Istambul (Turkey)
Lead the EMEA Fast Trak team in alignment with the global Fast Trak vision and strategic plan
Bring leads of process development projects and customized trainings to accomplish annual revenue targets established by the Fast Trak business, especially focusing on driving design in of GE products
Continue and extend the connection with regional sales and modality leaders and their teams, and work together with them to secure annual PD project and Training sales targets
Ensure continuous & sufficient support of the team to the business and customers throughout the year through implementation of manning plans
Work closely with other Fast Trak Leaders to support Education and Process Development activities.
Work closely with the Global Technical Manager to support Global Fast Trak projects, team development and team operations as needed, to enable Fast Trak to provide optimal offerings to our customers across the world
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Life Sciences, , Engineering and/or related field
Strong years of CMO or Pharmaceutical Industry experience
Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports
Excellent English oral and written communications skills
Strong customer focus: flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with frequent changes, travel requirements and engagement needs to fulfill customer
Strong project management skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
Team oriented ? ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional and multi-cultural teams, needs and deadlines
Desired Characteristics:
PhD, MBA or Master?s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Administration or related field
Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management,
GE Healthcare Life Sciences product/industry/technical acumen
Innovation ? develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
Proven ability to work globally
Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
