We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a solid background, as mechanical, electrical-, automation engineer or similar background. All standards and guidelines from Nestlé are implemented in the local environment.
The main purpose of this job is to support and participate in the implementation and execution of the factory maintenance plan, aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimize maintenance cost, through TPM methodologies support. You are therefore responsible to organize and coordinate resources - internal and external - to execute the maintenance plan on time.
You must also ensure people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised. All engineering activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance.
In this position you are supervising a department of 5 technicians but also all external contractors performing maintenance activities. The person in this position reports directly to the Factory Engineering Manager.
Key Experiences for this job
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
• Personnel Supervision (technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties): coordinate all resources, ensuring that the right resources are available in order to perform the planned/unplanned maintenance activities with the right competencies, on time and on budget.
• Support and participate in the competence building plan for the maintenance team.
• Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality.
• Provide input for annual maintenance budget. Assist with the reporting and tracking of the maintenance budget.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team with focus in process or packing optimization and continuous improvement.
• As we work with principles base on LEAN, TPM and Six Sigma experience within these concepts is an advantage: you will support and participate in the implementation of maintenance methodologies.
