About the role
As Factory Manager at Essity you are responsible to ensure and optimize the flow of raw materials and finished goods so that products can be delivered according to customer needs at the lowest possible costs within the department set priorities and objectives in line with the overall strategy.
You collaborate with regional teams internally and develop external relationships with suppliers, customers and logistic partners. You will be part of the Site Management Team and report directly to the Site Manager. Location is our plant in Falkenberg, and you will lead an organization of more than 100 people with a team of 6 managers reporting to you.
Tasks such as medium- and long-term planning lies within the role and within your team 's responsibilities.
Furthermore, you are actively conducting the safety- and work environment management as well as lead your team according to the company's core values. You are responsible to define and execute the strategy and define goals for the Planning and Logistic Team in the Factory.
In the factory in Falkenberg we are around 400 employees. We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our factory we are producing baby diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within North, Central and East Europe.

What you will do
Be a Role Model for Safety
Identifies and implements customer focused logistic solutions together with Sales Organizations and Regional Business Logistics
Controls the implementation of action plans, set critical success factors and develop management tools; introduce and train new strategies, systems, routines and processes.
Coordinates the optimization of stock levels for raw materials and finished goods
Coordinates the planning activities in the site and with sales organizations
Continuous improvement and follow up of KPI figures (Service level, Stock level, Costs) Plans and follow up budget figures and manage corrective actions if necessary
Coordinates between the different organizations the phasing in and phasing out of raw materials and finished goods
Participates in the development of the company logistics strategy when necessary
Negotiations with service providers i.e. haulers, external warehouses
Implementation of Manufacturing Excellence principles in the Logistics department.
Accountable for Performance Management process and responsible for consequence management within his/her department
Who you are
Production background with logistic focus
Hands on shopfloor experience including safety protocols
Leadership experience minimum 10 years
Deep knowledge in:
Production planning
Logistic/Material flow planning
Long term planning/prognosis
Business System (SAP)
Preferred TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Experience
Fluent both verbal and written Swedish and English
