Position Summary
In Product Development Unit (PDU) 4G5G we have several departments in Linköping responsible for 5G base station SW development. Enabling the high level 5G uses cases, Enhanced mobile broadband, Massive machine type communication, Ultra-reliable and low latency communication. The PDUs responsibility in Linköping expands from systemization, development, testing and product line maintenance.

Job description
At PDU 4G5G RAN Product Integration and Release (PIR), our responsibility is to ensure that the quality and functionality of both LTE and 5G RAN to fulfill our customer expectations. Today we work in an international environment with colleagues in Europe, Asia, and North America. We are looking for product guardian to our NodeSV team with a strong interest in simulators, verification, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). At PDU 4G5G PIR we work with the product on node level and end-to-end enabling a very broad view of the complete system in a customer like environment.
Responsibilities & Tasks
You are team player, hardworking, adaptive person, that enjoys fast paced work environment and embrace to be challenged. Preferably you are a type of person that loves to solve problems no one else has ever seen before as it is in our core to create new products and code.
As a SW Developer/Team leader you will play an active and important role in the development of the LTE and 5G radio access network. Responsibilities as part of the role include test analysis, supporting product development teams and project management driving Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes. You will also act as a leader and coach other people. We will have a lot of challenges within Simulators, Virtualization and 5G, and your contribution will be very important in those areas.

The role requires individuals who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, possesses strong team working and communication skills, and are highly motivated to deliver product with high quality. You need to manage a changing product scope, normal project work as well as continuous evaluation and improvement of our processes and ways of working. We expect you to always act with flexibility and find new solutions enabling us to be better than yesterday. At the same time you need to work effectively and able to handle many organizational interfaces. You will need to work to deadlines and to be focused on results for the organization as a whole. Most importantly, we want someone who is open to learning as well as sharing their findings with others!
You should have:
• the ability to work in teams and interest to educate others
• good communication skills
• several years of experience in verification
• trouble shooting and integration on different levels
• experience from test in a cloud environment is an advantage
• a driven and flexible personality
• good English writing and conversation skills
