hela Sverige Join our skilled Hardware team in Västerås! Westermo is recruiting an experienced Hardware Designer of Power Supplies!
We are looking for a passionate Hardware Designer, who really enjoys working with power supplies and analogue techniques. You like to work with hands-on design, testing and measuring in the lab, optimizing and finding the right components to create extremely robust and reliable solutions. Robust, reliable and efficient power supply solutions are critical for all Westermo products.
Your main focus in this role, will be power supply design. As a senior HW Designer, you are used to make technical decisions, take initiative and responsibility and deliver according to the objectives.
Our HW Design team, consists of 10 talented and supportive HW engineers, designing and assuring quality of all hardware for Westermo products. You will be part of a dedicated team of 2-3 senior HW engineers focusing on design of power supplies and will also work with Hardware Design on new exciting robust network products for harsh environments.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you are a team player and can cooperate in a professional manner with others.

Minimum requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Power Supply Design
Good knowledge in EMC design
Very good knowledge in Swedish and English both written & spoken
Preferred qualifications
Academic degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, or adequate work experience
Experience of working closely with the production
Experience in designing for test and manufacturing
Experience of using Mentor Design Tools and Mentor Hyperlynx-SI/PI
Experience of working with FPGA / CPLD and VHDL Design
