About the Team:
H&M has a proud history of design, style and fashion that reaches millions of customers. We, in Customer Experience Design, are tasked with translating this history into beautiful, welcoming and modern experiences that our customers love. Our CX Community is a diverse team of talented and passionate designers and researchers who work tightly with cross-functional product teams, driving both the customer and colleague facing experiences for the H&M Brand.
About the Role:
As an Experience (UX) Designer in the App Foundation team, your job is to effectively build, deliver, and iterate on great app customer experiences for the H&M Brand. Within the App foundation product team, we provide the foundation for app behavior across the holistic experience for iOS and Android. Examples are when applying native patterns, haptics and motion graphics, but also supporting other product teams in applying best practice. The role will work closely with other designers in both the value streams and our design community, along with stakeholders in Brand, tech and Commercial units. The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a complex corporate environment with many stakeholders. The role is based within the value stream Inspire & Discover but will also go across the experience.
As a person you believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. Working with a focus on value creation, growth and serving our stakeholders in Brand and Commercial departments with full ownership and transparency.
Responsibilities:
Engaging in initiative identification, definition and creation, with the relevant key stakeholders and across the H&M Group, with the purpose to ensure initiatives are researched, evaluated and mapped towards the H&M Brand direction and key moments in the customer journey.
Conducting research, mapping, maintenance and governance of the holistic, app customer journey.
Defining and validating future customer experience visions based on customer insights, business goals & KPIs while taking into account technical possibilities
Developing new value propositions and concepts and validating/iterating these with customers as well as with relevant stakeholders
Facilitating workshops and design sprints
Supporting the value stream experience directors to identify and set appropriate metrics. Tracking reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics, and turning them into new ideas and improvements
Giving input and ensuring continuous improvement of the Fabric Design System for app components
Overall advocating Customer-centered design solutions.

Qualifications
At least 2 - 4 years of experience as a UX/Experience Designer of mainly apps and also web, preferably within E-commerce
Strong communication skills - ability to simplify the complex and provide clarity in ambiguity
Good-strong proficiency in Figma
Good knowledge of iOS and Android patterns
Good understanding of working with WCAG guidelines
Basic understanding of basic HTML, CCS, Javascript
Defining near-future visions based on user insights, business goals & KPIs plus technical possibilities
Leadership - experience in leading design initiatives from start to finish
Facilitation - Ability to facilitate collaborative workshops with users and stakeholders and proactively communicate progress and roadmap
Strong user centered practices - Ability to understand the user's needs, motivations, behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables - through strong conceptual thinking
Agile ways of working - Ability to organise and break down bigger chunks of information into smaller tasks, plans and schedules
UX Research - being able to collect data from our user base, both internal users (designers and engineers) as well as end consumers
Experience in Design Systems - ability to reason around concepts, ways of working and practical approaches, preferably at enterprise scale
High Drive - a self-led person with the ability to identify and action upon improvement areas
