hela Sverige Upgrades is currently hiring for a motivating tutor with theoretical and practical understanding in constructional engineering.
About you:
In addition to having a great love for the English language, you also have the ability to motivate and inspire others. You are independent and can adapt the content of your teaching to the participant's level, purpose/goals and preferred learning technique. It is of most importance that you have a good understanding of terminology and concepts regarding constructional engineering.
Requirements:
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Advanced knowledge of English grammar
• Fluent in Swedish
• Understanding of constructional/structural engineering terminology
It is a great advantage if you have further experience in pedagogy or language teaching, but not a requirement.
About the assignment:
The assignment includes planning and holding 10 English lessons for two participants, starting as soon as possible. Each lesson is 90 minutes and takes place at the participant's workplace in Södermalm.
Focus will be on both spoken and written language. Lessons should include how to write formal letters/emails (vocabulary and structure) and cover the language and terminology used in a formal setting.
The hourly pay rate is based on qualifications and experience.
