About you
Full professional proficiency in English
You are responsible, professional and security conscious
You have a genuine interest in children
You have creative ideas in regard to how language learning can be woven into childcare and you encourage curiosity
You want to work 3-10 hours a week for at least 6 months
It is an advantage if you have training or further experience in pedagogy, childcare or language teaching
About the assignments
We are currently hiring for two babysitting assignments in the Malmö area.
The assignment includes picking up an 8-year old boy from school in central Malmö. The working hours are Tuesdays 2:30-5:00 PM or 3:00-5:30.
English speaking babysitting in Klagshamn for two children, 4 and 2 years old. The working hours are on a flexible weekday, 3 hours a week.
As an Upgrades babysitter you will carry out standard childcare tasks (collecting from preschool/kindergarten or school, basic food preparation, take the children to sports and play) whilst maintaining a strong focus on the development.
Upgrades babysitting is a long-term commitment and we are looking for someone available for a minimum of 6 months. As part of our recruitment process we require an extract from the Swedish criminal records.
The babysitter is required to start immediately
We offer
As a babysitter at Upgrades, you will receive a course in CPR and have your own dedicated contact person who will help you get started and be there on an ongoing basis. For those who are interested in language development, there is also the opportunity to work with language camps (children 6-12 years) as well as language teaching (children and young adults).
