Main tasks and responsibilities
As the Electrical Development Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our electrical engineering team delivers on technical customer demands, product safety, legislation requirements, and internal requirements for (CB) Counter Balanced products, all while keeping sustainability at the forefront. You will drive the development of sustainable and innovative solutions and lead the team in developing effective processes and key interfaces with other processes, teams, and functions to achieve our sustainability goals.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have an MSc or BSc in Engineering or a similar field, solid technical knowledge regarding non-road mobile machinery or similar rubber tire vehicles, and experience in product development activities within electrical engineering. Experiences regarding other Kalmar products are also qualifying.
We are looking for a visionary leader who engages others in the leadership process, provides context and long-term direction, and has a passion for sustainability. You should also have the ability to coach, empower team members, make good and timely decisions, plan effectively, prioritize work and resource allocations, and apply leadership skills to drive change effectively. Fluent written and spoken English is also required.
