E2E Network Solutions with BNEW is looking to strengthen the team! We are seeking additional Solution System Managers!
E2E Network Solutions works with Network Solutions from traditional connectivity/transport solutions (routing/switching) to areas of using mobile technology such as Fixed Wireless Access, Private Networking and IOT. Regardless if we do a connectivity solution to provide a backbone for a low latency use case or ensuring that the radio network is configured for drones the foundation of all use cases and solutions we do is the wide Ericsson portfolio covering 5G Radio, Core, Transport and Management. For us working with cutting edge technology is not an rare opportunity - it is given and expected in our daily work! Our organization is uniquely positioned between the development organizations and the customer engagement teams providing good opportunities for customer interaction and Ericsson wide cooperation with regions and other business areas.
Our organization is on high level doing Systems Management, Solutions Design and verification for our solutions. We also actively work near our customer doing Demos, PoC's and occasionally hands on support. We are a tight team where many has competence to work across the system management, solution design and verification domain.
We are based in Stockholm/Sweden, Aachen/Germany and Beijing/China and work tightly with development and customer around the globe
We are now seeking to strengthen the team and are looking for Solution System Managers for E2E Network Solutions with the following profile:
As a system manager or Solution Designer within E2E Network solutions we expect you to have or gain the capability to do studies spanning multiple/all products within the Ericsson portfolio with a networking/connectivity focus. While we expect product knowledge on individual product level the emphasis is on E2E networking and abilities to across a portfolio perform studies, identify ways to solve customer use cases, document solutions in customer facing documentation and support verification during verification activities. The expectation in this role will be to be very hands-on and ability to work hands-on with the products, to have knowledge of relevant applicable protocols while at the same time always keeping the E2E networking view in mind.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute agreed study and solution study scope with stakeholders
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Study and design solutions including new and existing features of an end to end network
Support Solution Verification and ensure that we are able to Integrate and verify new features of a complex end to end network
Document study and verification outcome in internal and customer facing documentation.
Build and maintain relationship as needed within the company and with relevant external parties.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain
In addition, all candidates must possess strong ability to work in a distributed team. You expected to work with an end to end focus but are also able to on demand go into more detailed level as needed without losing End-2-End focus.
Key Qualifications:
Education: MSc or equivalent
Min years of experience: >5 years in applicable similar roles, >10 years in industry
Domain experience: Experience of node/network level system management, systems management in the transport/connectivity domain.
Product experience: Relevant experience for role, for example: IP Transport products. Radio products preferably with vRAN/Cloud-RAN experience, packet core products and applications.
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
