Director Product Portfolio Strategy
Responsibilities/Tasks
The Director of Product Portfolio Strategy is responsible for the Powertrain Strategy and Powertrain Plan for Geely Auto and Lynk & Co.
- Responsible to define the Geely / Lynk & Co / Volvo Cars shared PT & NEV strategy.
- Manage the Geely Group Powertrain Supply / Demand Business alignment with Volvo Cars.
- Work closely with Geely / CEVT PT engineering team & Volvo Cars PT Strategy & Engineering teams to develop the next generation of powertrains and/or brand new powertrains to support Geely / Lynk & Co / Volvo Cars business growth and competitiveness.
- Lead Geely Group Global CO2 strategy and ensure corporate fleet stays competitive, define an optimized strategy (balance cost, complexity and volumes, etc.,) to meet future Global regulations and demands.
- Responsible for managing Geely global vehicle's PT & NEV competiveness and complexity
- Lead new Powertrain & NEV strategy initiatives, collect functional inputs and conduct strategic analysis for senior management review
- Provide regular Global regulation & policy updates by working with VCC / Geely / CEVT regulation team
- Propose powertrain line-ups for each Geely / Lynk & Co vehicle program, agreed with MSS, to support the products' competitiveness, whilst managing the Group Fleet Average CO2 targets.
- Continuously monitor competitive actions in PT & NEV area.
Needed Competencies/Skills
- >10 years auto industry experience, planning or marketing background is required
- Master's degree in business or engineering is preferred
- Chinese and English skills is required
- Strategic thinking with strong logical analysis capability
- Strong drive for decision making
- Comfortable to make regular report to Top Management
