About the role:
This role is primarily responsible for Business Area EA's financial controlling for Europe. This role is critical in ensuring that the quality of region Europe's financial information throughout the accounting process is consistent, complete, accurate, and timely to meet the IFRS and statutory reporting requirements at local and Group level.
As Finance Controller at Electrolux, you will oversee period close and ensure financial reporting aligns with IFRS and Group Reporting requirements, meeting all reporting deadlines. You will manage internal and external audits and collaborate with Shared Service organizations and stakeholders on financial control issues, ensuring ECS compliance. You will promote compliance with group policies and local regulations, ensuring the company adheres to all legal requirements. Additionally, you will oversee tax-related matters, ensuring compliance and timely reporting of the company's tax obligations.
What you will do:
Lead and manage a team of 6+ direct report and an overall function of 100+ professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
Ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting and preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, generally accepted accounting principles and other requirements for listed companies.
Participate in the annual budget, analyses the actual result, collects the requested information, performs checks and prepares analysis to the affiliate/cluster leadership and European/Group finance teams as appropriate.
Collect financial information, perform accuracy checks and variances & trend analysis (actual vs budget, forecast, prior year) on the legal result.
Cost controlling of operating expenses and investments
Highlighting the impacting elements and escalate any issues
Provide understandable, readable content and display information in a smart way to serve the business stakeholders
Create new and develop the existing reports and analyses by taking into new requirements and needs
Manage external audits with audit teams
Owning interface towards shared accounting service, GSSC

You will report to the Head of Financial Control and Reporting BA EA.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, a master's degree or professional certification (ACCA, CPA) is preferred
Solid experience in financial controlling
We would like you to have experience in working in auditing and 7-10 years of professional experience
Team leadership and talent development experience
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards
SAP knowledge, excel expert and analytical thinker
Commercially astute with ability and desire to understand the business
Confident and able communicator who can work independently
Enthusiastic and proactive to take on challenges to further professional development
Experience of working in a / within a multicultural, international environment,
Stress taking ability
Must be comfortable analyzing and interpreting complex data and drawing logical conclusions.
Very good command of English language
You are an individual that sees the bigger picture, enjoying accounting as a function and the impact it has on the business. You like to challenge and be persistent in driving change whilst maintaining control.
