Business Area & the role
As a Data Engineer for C&CJ - B2C you'll be part of the B2C Engineering team responsible for developing & delivering analytical solutions used for generating insights to support the Group consumer journey organization. In addition, you will be responsible for enhancing the solution based on business requirements and have an excellent opportunity to gain functional knowledge. Requiring close collaboration with architects and engineering community, the ideal candidate requires a passion for data & a keen eye for detail. This requires excellent communication skills as well as being used to working in a cross functional environment.
Job responsibilities
• Develop & deliver high quality processes & functionalities in collaboration with Engineering lead and D&A Product Architects
• Drive the collaboration in development and rollout efforts for the new initiatives through Engineering product teams, and actively engage in prototyping new solutions utilizing the Electrolux Data Lake and Analytical solutions.
• Participate in discovery workshops to understand the business objectives and goals.
• Engage with data providers to manage data quality issues, explaining problems and pro-actively assist in providing solutions.

Educational Requirements
Hold a university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Experience and Skill Requirements
3-5 years hands-on experience in SQL, Azure or AWS.
Advanced SQL, ELT, data engineering skills.
Solid command of one or more of: Python/Pyspark (preferred) or Scala.
Solid understanding of data structures and database technologies.
Experience with Azure (or AWS equivalent) Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks.
Experience with good software engineering practices: with working experience on modern tools such as Azure DevOps, Github, Jira, Jenkins and other build automation tools.
Self-motivated, fast learner, technology agnostic, pragmatic, strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
