Role Summary
As a Cyber Resilience Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity defenses focused on ransomware resilience. This role is pivotal in developing robust architectures that prevent, detect, and respond to ransomware attacks, with a strong emphasis on secure backup, data immutability, and rapid recovery. You will collaborate with business units, IT, information security, network security, and leadership teams to drive cyber protection initiatives and embed best practices across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Design and implement ransomware-resilient architectures across diverse environments, incorporating data immutability, air-gapped storage, and isolated recovery systems.
Develop and enforce comprehensive cyber recovery strategies, including real-time threat detection, secure backups, and rapid data restoration.
Integrate threat intelligence, behavioral analytics, and automated response capabilities into the overall cyber protection framework.
Work closely with IT, SOC, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment of ransomware defense with enterprise cybersecurity strategies.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to align cyber protection with business continuity objectives.
Create and maintain ransomware-specific incident response playbooks and disaster recovery runbooks.
Define and continuously improve policies for data lifecycle protection, backup validation, and recovery assurance testing.
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements, including DORA, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
Provide expert guidance during security incidents involving data compromise, loss, or corruption.
Monitor emerging ransomware tactics and incorporate defensive innovations into security architecture.
Who You Are
You are a self-aware and purpose-driven leader who takes ownership and inspires action. With a strong inner drive, you proactively navigate complexity, engage stakeholders, and move initiatives forward - even in the face of uncertainty. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and are confident in your ability to lead. Your leadership is grounded in trust, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous learning - both for yourself and those around you.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
At least 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 8+ years in a Solution Architect role.
Hands-on expertise in ransomware defense strategies, data protection, immutable storage, and air-gapped architecture design.
Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and secure system design principles.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise storage technologies (SAN/NAS/Object), backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A self-driven attitude with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and initiatives.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
A passion for cyber resilience and a commitment to continuous improvement.
A strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation with operational excellence.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
