We are now looking for a customer-facing Solution Architect with a good Engineering background. You will represent Ericsson in the solutioning, deployment and / or configuration of various solutions in the fulfilment domain of OSS, as we deliver next generation Network Inventory Solutions in the Nordics. This work will have a material impact on our customer's delivery to their customers.
Responsibilities:
Prepare solution specifications and other needed documents for cross-team and customer agreement
Prepare integration plans, work instructions, interface specifications, quality and test plans, and / or other working materials
Supervise, coach and develop more junior colleagues
Report effectively and constructively on progress, quality and issues
Participation in customer meetings, such as progress reviews, release management meetings and multi-vendor coordination calls
Contribute to overall Ericsson Knowledge in the OSS area
Key Qualifications
Normally requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent, plus a minimum of 4 years related experience (strong practical experience of more than 10 years with more limited academic background can be considered).
Deep and practical understanding of the Fulfilment domain of OSS (as defined by TM Forum) and future-facing Network Inventory Solutions
At least reasonable understanding of legacy Network Inventory approaches, practical experience an advantage
Knowledge of Ericsson OSS products and approaches a strong advantage
Strong understanding of Telecom Operator business models and typical end-to-end business and operational processes
High level system integration competence, capable of understanding and writing detailed integration specifications
Good interpersonal, social and presentation skills, and an ability to build internal and customer working relationships quickly
Ability to work in multiple cultures, and in mixed teams
Service oriented approach with high standards in complying to specified service level agreement
Each of experience working for a major telecoms operator or vendor, a specialized OSS vendor, a major consultancy or other professional services team is a plus
The position is actively customer-facing and requires excellent communications skills both verbal and written
In this experience-based role, the candidate is expected to be business minded with a proven track record of success
