We are now looking for a CTO to join our management team and lead and develop our development and operations teams in Sweden and abroad.
Your role as CTO
As our first CTO you will have a unique opportunity to design the role and surrounding organisation. Working with our Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for developing products that meet our customers' needs and are appreciated by our end-users in their daily work. We strongly believe that doctors, nurses and healthcare administrators should have the same user experience with our products as they have with their favourite applications in their private lives.
You will have overall responsibility for our technical platforms and development in Sweden and abroad, and for ensuring that we have a stable technical structure for launching new features and products. This includes building, leading and structuring a DevOps organisation with highly motivated and efficient teams. You will coach and support the team and ensure that we have the requisite resources in the development organisation to achieve our goals. You will report to the CEO and be a key member of the company's management group. Duties include:
• Overall responsibility for implementing current and future product functionality, including ensuring that our technology is at the forefront and continuously evolving in line with market needs and requirements.
• Leading and developing the DevOps team in Sweden and abroad, with personnel and budget responsibility.
• Working closely with the Product organisation to ensure efficient product development.
Your skills and qualifications
You have a solid technical background and have previously held CTO, Development Manager or similar positions in innovative tech organisations. You have been involved in a tech organisation's major advancement - for example, taking a product from the start-up to scale-up phase, or launching a local product in multiple countries. You have a clear vision of how you want to lead and improve development, from processes and team structure to choice of technology and architecture.
You have a university degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or similar and have good spoken and written communication skills (Swedish and English). Experience in international environments, start-up organisations, the healthcare industry and/or managing large amounts of sensitive/personal data is a plus.
You are self-driven, social and committed. You take initiative, make things happen and are able to make innovative and strategic decisions to secure business value. You have a genuine interest in technology, leadership and building teams, and are motivated by developing others. You are also a fluent communicator with the ability to effectively convey your message at all levels of the organisation.
