Volvo Car Overseas Corporation (VCOC) is responsible for marketing and sales of Volvo Cars, Service, Parts and Accessories in Japan, Asia Pacific, Australia, India, Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Baltic States. In total VCOC is covering 68 countries divided into 7 Hubs consisting of 11 NSC's and 49 Importers. Our mission is to be an entrepreneurial organisation in valuable partnership with Importers and Dealers, maximizing current and future Business Potential of our Region.
The Finance team within VCOC is a small team with dedicated and competent members. We are covering a wide area of Finance work from Budgeting, Long Range Planning, Internal- and Business Control, Tax and Accounting issues to Trade Finance / Treasury and Credit Control.
You will be part of the team working with Trade Finance / Treasury and Credit Control towards our Importers and National Sales Companies (NSC's). VCOC has taken over Funding and Credit Control responsibilities from Ford Credit and therefore we are now looking for an additional new member to the team.
Main responsibilities for the Credit Controller:
Contact-and support person for selected NSC's and Importers
Handling of Trade Finance Instruments ( Stand by Letter of Credit's etc)
Support to current set up with the Swedish Export Agency (EKN) and Banks, including Guaranties and Discounting of receivables
Reporting to EKN and Banks
Secure that our customers are paying in time and that the outstanding receivables are within agreed limits
Demand payments of overdue receivables
Manage Customer Accounts including booking in-and outgoing payments and also to do reconciliations of accounts
Qualifications:
Experience from working in Finance, accounting or accounts receivables, and /or working in a Bank
Basic knowledge in Accounting and preferable SAP
High proficiency in English and general good communication skills
Degree in Business Administration or similar post High school education
