In Sweden, we are 400 employees currently working within Tax & Legal Services across the country, providing our clients with qualified tax consulting and legal advice. Within our Legal practice, we are 45 competent and committed colleagues working in integrated teams. Our services include advice in commercial contract law, real estate law, company law, municipal law and ownership issues. At the office in Jönköping 26 employees work within Tax & Legal Services, of which 9 work within our Legal practice.

With growth ambitions, we now wish to expand our Legal team. Therefore, we are looking for a junior talent to join us in Jönköping!
What we offer

The dynamic environment in which many companies and organisations operate, requires legal support with a similar agility. We are legal consultants; we combine the qualities of traditional lawyers, consultants and in-house lawyers. Like traditional lawyers, we deliver high quality legal advice. Like consultants, we have the skills and can-do approach to handle complex projects. Like in-house lawyers we work together with other areas of expertise like finance, tax, strategy, compliance, audit, risk management, marketing and HR. As part of the global PwC network, we have market knowledge and benchmarking possibilities far beyond most traditional law firms. We bring in the different perspectives PwC has to offer. Our purpose is to solve important problems by looking further than a strict legal analysis. With our work, we aim to build trust in society.

Do you want to be a part of a company that invests in your future? We support career growth by encouraging continuous learning and by providing a framework for you to acquire new skills at the right time. At PwC we offer coaching, tailored training programs, and a variety of fun and challenging learning opportunities. As an employee you will be part of a strong social network! Our corporate culture is characterized by openness, communication, community and respect for the individual.

We give you an opportunity of a lifetime!

Responsibilities
As an Associate within PwC, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

In the role of Corporate Lawyer, you will give legal advice regarding mergers and acquisitions as well as issues related to shareholders and shareholder agreements. In addition, you will provide legal advice regarding complicated cases, agreements and investigations within the public sector. One of our major strengths in business is the holistic perspective we can offer our clients in the form of legal expertise combined with our broad competence in general. Therefore you will often take part in cross functional teams, eg. teaming up with our fellow tax advisors, where you will work with corporate law and other civil- and municipal law issues.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Writing reports and memos
• Establishing legal documents
• Support senior employees within legal investigations

Your journey with us will ultimately lead to a greater responsibility, and that you will also be responsible for sales and development of our services. Our ambition is that you initially will develop in a broad role and later on taking advantage of the great development and specialization opportunities existing at the company.

Preferred skills
We are looking for candidates with a law degree. We believe that you are a recent graduate, but it is meritorious if you have completed a notarial service from a district court or have 1-2 years of previous work experience from a law firm or equivalent. We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in corporate law and who is passionate about turning knowledge into business. Furthermore, you maintain a high technical level and have fluent language skills in both Swedish and English. Swedish is our primarily working language.

We attach great importance to your personal qualities! To succeed in this role you are driven, solution-oriented, communicative and able to adapt to new situations and circumstances with ease. You are analytical and meticulous, and at the same time decisive. Lastly, you are socially competent and positive and prestigeless in cooperation with colleagues and clients.

Expected joining period: As soon as possible/based on agreement

Location: The position is based in Jönköping, but in this role you will work closely with other colleagues in our region as well as other parts of the country
