The Steering ART (Agile Release Train), is a part of Vehicle Motion & Climate, which is responsible for the vehicle steering functions. Within the Steering ART we develop steering functions for conventional and AD controlled vehicles. We have both in-house and supplier developed SW solutions. We research future systems for our portfolio such as Steer by Wire and Rear Wheel Steering. We work with platform solutions where we strive to lead and shape the development on future shared platforms between Volvo, Polestar, Geely and Lotus.
Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for you that have practical experience in embedded SW development with focus on control theory. You are interested in Vehicle dynamics theory and want to develop your vehicle interest and contribute in developing steering functions for tomorrow's cars.
C coding experience is meritorious but most of our work is done in Simulink/Targetlink/MATLAB. You enjoy working close to the product, testing your theories in practise. You are creative and want to contribute to a positive and constructive atmosphere in the team. You have good communication and documentation skills in English and if you don't already speak Swedish, you have it as a personal objective to do so.
You will be part of a team that share their work load and develop their competences together to become stronger as individuals and as a team. The team is cross functional. Some competences overlapping each other, and others are individual key competences to assure a good flow and high competences in the team. You are interested in widening your competence as well as deepen your skills to best contribute to the team's deliveries.
You enjoy working in an Agile environment, where good communication and the will to support each other is the base for the team development.

Contribute to the development of the steering experience by participating in the development of technology and competence strategies. Quality in how and what you do is important for you to assure a safe product delivered on time to meet our customer 's need.
You and your skills
You have a M.Sc. in Controls and Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering with focus on Control Theory.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and have a driving license (B) and drives on a regular basis. You don't mind and have the ability to travel.
Team work is important for you and you like bringing out the best in others.
