The position in brief
LK Valves is looking for a commercially focused Contract Manager based in the office in Helsingborg. As Contract Manager you realize larger sales projects and participate in the entire sales process. You have previously worked as Contract Manager or have a background as sales person, commercial project manager or purchaser.
LK Valves is currently in an interesting development phase, where the company's growth is expected to come from more and larger shipbuilding projects at yards all over the world.

As Contract Manager you are an important part in creating customer satisfaction. You are involved in the entire sales process, managing large sales projects in a professional way from offer all the way to delivery, warranty period and aftermarket. You will be an important resource for our sales team, supporting them with competence and project management. You will also be a natural link to our purchase and logistic functions securing delivery times, costs and quality. An important task is continuous development of LK Valves' sales process and make sure we work accordingly in order to secure profitability, quality and not least satisfied customers.
Your profile
We would prefer you to have an academic degree and you have previously worked either as Contract Manager, sales person, commercial project manager or purchaser. Excellent technical understanding, knowledge in logistics, delivery terms and various financial instruments to secure business transactions is a great advantage. You will have plenty of contact with our customers and it is essential that you enjoy being in a sales focused and sometimes demanding commercial environment. Since you will be working on several projects at the same time you must be able to handle many things simultaneously. We also want you to work methodical and structured and be good at keeping deadlines.
Irrespective your background and experience you have to be able to work in a small, but dynamic and ambitious team. You consider it a personal and professional development to build a strong contract management function as well as being involved in the development of our company.
We want you to have high capacity, be straightforward and self motivated in your daily work, but at the same time you are down-to-earth and a team player. Besides that you need to be able to set up project plans and execute them in a disciplined way. To be successful in the position you must have the curiosity to learn about the marine industry, our customers as well as our products and their applications. Your commitment and will to succeed is the crucial thing. You need to have excellent English communication skills, verbally as well as in writing.
