We are looking for a Communications Development Officer who will take an active part in developing Staff Function Communications to stay fit for the future. Communications development works with ensuring that SF Comms have the right strategies, the right competence, cross functional ways of working, full control of our contracts, tools, planning and follow up.
Your contribution
As a Communications Development Officer you have an important role in the relationship with Vattenfall IT as operational Business information officer, managing the staff function's basic IT services, service level agreements and a number of IT projects. You are responsible for SF Communications' part in Vattenfall Management System and in maintaining and developing the usage of Office 365 and SharePoint within the staff function.
You will take part in tool development and project portfolio management. You will support in data analytics as part of the team's responsibility for SF Communications planning and follow up. Other tasks that will be a part of your position is to run SF common training initiatives and run development initiatives within the scope of the team.
About the team
You will be part of the Communication development team who enables SF Communications of being a well-functioning Communication's function. The team is responsible of:
• Managing a Communications' portfolio (both IT and business) meeting the strategic objectives while securing "most bangs for the bucks".
• Ensuring cross functional ways of working, meeting the ever-changing environment inside and outside Vattenfall.
• Driving a transparent and coherent process for planning, follow up and adjust to obtain full control of costs and resources.
• Ensuring the right competence by providing suitable training programs.
• Securing that Communications is compliant as a function, both from a legal and overall Vattenfall perspective (e.g. Vattenfall Management System, GDPR, overall contract management).
• Ensuring an efficient Communications' function by keeping an overview of all SF Communications tools and providing supporting tools where knowledge easily can be shared, ex Intranet, Yammer and Integrated planner/Power BI.
Qualifications and requirements:
You have at least 5 years' experience with similar tasks and most likely have a consultant background since we believe that you are triggered by working in an ever-changing work environment where the connection with people is the key. You have interest and knowledge in business development and change management. As a person you are self-driven and flexible, yet you have strong skills in building relations and collaborate with others. We believe that you take responsibility and have a problem-solving mindset, as well as you enable and support the team in their projects. Other requirements:
• Strong IT- and communication skills and ability to perform a wide range of duties
• Academic education in communication, business development, system sciences or equivalent
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
• Experience in operational excellence is beneficial
