The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commissioning phase of the project in Sweden. This role involves ensuring that all systems and components of the project are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements. The Commissioning Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the project meets its sustainability goals and operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and schedules.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions between project phases.
Liaise with stakeholders to align commissioning activities with overall project timelines.
Commissioning Execution:
Lead and manage the commissioning team, including subcontractors and third-party specialists.
Oversee the execution of commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for commissioning activities.
Testing and Validation:
Develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols for all systems and components.
Validate system performance and functionality against design specifications and operational requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during the commissioning process.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed commissioning documentation, including plans, procedures, and reports.
Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, test results, and modifications.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to HSE regulations and company policies.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the commissioning team.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Facilitate lessons learned sessions to enhance future project commissioning phases.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
Minimum of 20 years of experience in commissioning and project management within the industrial sector, preferably in steel manufacturing or hydrogen related projects.
Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, standards, and best practices.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Fluency in English;

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or commissioning (CCP).
Experience with hydrogen-based technologies and green steel production processes.
