As a Cloud Solution Architect within the Cloud Adoption team at Scania you will be responsible for guiding and helping our internal development teams to great solutions in AWS. You are also greatly involved in developing and maintaining our AWS Reference Architecture and setup. You communicate professionally with your team and the teams you support, with a positive and pragmatic attitude.
Responsibilities
Helping internal customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
Working as a technical leader along-side internal customer business, development and infrastructure teams
Mapping business requirements to actual solutions or services
Cost/Benefit modelling with mapping to business KPIs
Help to design, develop and continuously improve delivered services
Analysing application portfolios, identifying dependencies & common infrastructure platform components, and assessing migration feasibility
Generating migration roadmaps across complex organizational structures
Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment
Qualifications
Proven experience building security reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios
Familiarity with archive, backup/recovery and business continuity processes in distributed operations
Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture, automation, integration, and deployment (DevOps)
Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations
Your profile
Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Strong, creative problem solving and analytical in nature
Self-motivated, energetic and tenacious and working well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
A strong desire to learn new technologies and deliver excellent customer outcomes through technical expertise
10+ years of IT experience as a technical specialist
Deep hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or current hands on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements
