hela Sverige We need to strengthen our group with an additional resource to be responsible for Cleanliness and Process Liquids competence development. So if you're a fan of production and improvements and would like to work in an international environment please read forward.
Global Industrial Development is responsible for consolidation and development of Scania's joint competence within industrial engineering, as well as development and coordination of related IT-systems. We also coordinate Scania Production activities within VW Truck & Bus Holding.
Your work assignments
You must have the competence to transform the cleanliness specifications from the product design perspective into a practical manufacturing process which meets those specifications. In parallel to this, you will also work with process liquids, both for washing machines and for metal working fluids systems. In other practical terms you need to:
Support the line organisation by:
- Providing competence, the best known practices and cost benefit solutions to the process engineers regarding cleanliness.
- Acting as a communication partner between Production and R&D for cleanliness issues to achieve the right balance between product specifications and production costs.
Support and train the line organization in metal working fluids systems:
- Coordinate the cross functional work within TE department, line organisation and process liquids suppliers in order to figure out the best practices and cost benefit solutions for Scania. Standardise the solutions by creating common methods.
Actively participate in Research Projects that lead to Competence development for today and for the future.
Create and maintain internal and external networks and work together with the Development Groups (Engineering and Quality);
Benchmark Cleanliness and Process liquids within the VW group.
Do you have the experience?
We are looking for an Industrial Engineer with experience in Cleanliness who can understand specifications in the drawings and convert them into a Manufacturing process that meets those specifications.
Knowledge in the Process Liquids area for example utilisation, legislation and safety aspects.
Excellent skills in MS Office
Fluent in English and additional language such as Swedish and German is a merit
