Job description
To perform credit analysis on current and potential customers in Finland, within designated authority levels, in addition to liaising with CIT's Vendor partners as and when needs dictate. The position will be based in Stockholm.
Key responsibilities:
• Writes credit reviews complete with supporting documentation, makes credit recommendations and provides credit approval/decline decisions within authorised limits
• Interfaces with customers to resolve credit related issues, including on-site visits as appropriate
• Develops and promotes programs and practices to support and enhance Originations and Operations
• Fully assesses the risk of the transaction submitted in line with the Group credit policy proposals in the appropriate format, emphasising the risks and mitigants of the proposal and demonstrating reasoned logic for the justification
• Undertakes duties designed by the Credit Manager, including the compilation of reports and information for customers and other CIT departments and working with Management to refine credit policies and procedures
Qualifications
• 2 years experience of underwriting exerpience, preferably for the Finnish market
• Developed financial and credit analysis skills
• Sufficient knowledge of Finnish language to document data and communicate with Finnish sales, customers and others
• Good working language skills in Swedish and English
• Knowledge of credit principles, practices and law
• Ability to work methodically, under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Highly numerate, strong PC skills and attention to detail
