We are looking for a purpose-lead specialist for the Circular Team at the Hubhult Office in Malmö, reporting to the Circular Manager. You will be a key player in delivering our purpose to balance economic growth and positive social impact with environmental protection and regeneration.
To be successful in this role, you have:
• Comprehensive knowledge in the area of Circular with up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and research, specifically in the area of retail, waste, and materials.
• Advanced knowledge of how to balance and merge environmental, social, and economic aspects into the business with the purpose to generate growth within the limits of the planet
• Strong collaboration skills, you seek collaboration cross-functionally to reach the highest possible impact and build strong and trustful relationships on different levels inside and outside IKEA.
• Broad knowledge of how to influence circular policy and regulation and how to lead strategic advocacy and communication.
• A proven track record of interdependent leadership skills - you can communicate a broad understanding of strategic goals and objectives and take action and collaborate across the business in order to achieve results through others
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a senior leader within a larger consumer-facing international company or consultancy working with circular and business transformation.
• Higher education in circularity, sustainability, or similar, and experience working as an expert in circularity-related topics
• Experience and understanding of how a global retailer operates

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for developing and providing relevant content, knowledge and expertise to support the Circular team in setting the successful direction for the area of circular in the People & Planet Positive strategy, and to provide leadership in the development, co-ordination and integration of circular activities, initiatives, and projects across Ingka.
More specifically, you will:
• Contribute to the development and facilitation of the INGKA strategic direction in the area of circular with a deeper focus on, waste, materials, construction, and procurement
• Develop, implement, and maintain guiding principles, policies and business requirements for circular, aligned and up to date with current legislation.
• Contribute to the business development and innovation roadmap and other deliveries contributing to the circular strategic agenda
• Enable the internal circular transformation with key stakeholders through training, workshops, managing working groups and tracking circular pilots and projects across Ingka
• Provide insights and expertise to the Performance & Reporting team in order to secure high quality analysis and reporting.
• Provide research and expert advice on circularity topics with a deeper expertise in waste and materials to proactively support the circular team, the business and senior management with direction, tools, measurements, and knowledge
• Be a self-starter, ability to work autonomously and manage up
• Thrive in a start-up, agile and adaptable team environment
• Provide agile support for the circular team by coordinating multiple projects incl. content production and management updates
