Are you a visionary leader with a passion for innovation and product development? We are now looking for a forward-thinking Chief Product Officer to lead the product development efforts for our groundbreaking conductive polymer solutions. As our first-ever CPO, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our products and to support the commercialization of the next-generation technologies in the battery, electronics, and sustainable energy sectors. If you are ready to make a significant impact, lead an innovative team, and take products from the lab to global markets - we want to hear from you!
About n-ink
At n-ink, our vision is to create a greener tomorrow through our environmentally friendly, high-performance conductive polymers, designed to power the next generation of electronics and renewable energy. Our unique technology doesn't just enhance performance-it enables eco-friendly batteries and electronics, free from harmful PFAS substances. Since our journey began in 2020, we have rapidly advanced toward becoming a key player in the global battery ecosystem. With 15 patents and over 30 customers worldwide, and as one TechArena 2025's Top 46 Startups, we are paving the way for the future of electrification. Now, we're ready to take our product strategy to the next level.
About the role
As our first-ever Chief Product Officer, you will have the opportunity to define and execute our product vision, bridging R&D, production, and market needs. You will play a key role in shaping our roadmap, supporting commercialization, and ensuring our technology reaches its full potential in a rapidly evolving industry. You will lead the work of increasing the technology readiness level of our polymers, to meet customer needs within conductive polymer formulations for battery binders, printed electronics, and other applications.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Defining and executing our product development roadmap for conductive polymers, aligning with our business goals and market opportunities
Collaborating with sales and business development teams to translate customer requirements into innovative product solutions
Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product differentiation, and establish partnerships with battery manufacturers, electronics companies, and research institutions to stay ahead of emerging industry trends
Acting as the product spokesperson, engaging with customers, partners, and stakeholders at industry events and conferences internationally
Support the Commercial team in refining go-to-market strategies, pricing models and value propositions for different product lines
Working closely with the R&D and engineering teams to ensure products meet technical and performance requirements, as well as support our IP strategy, patent filings, and regulatory approvals
Managing a team of four highly educated battery materials- and product development engineers, supporting their contributions and ensuring the team is working towards business goals

You will be part of the management team, where you will work closely with CEO, CTO and COO to align product development with the company vision and growth targets. You will be based in our headquarters in beautiful Norrköping, Sweden, where we have our brand new office and lab facilities, strategically located in the meeting hub space HOPE, Home of Organic Printed Electronics, which bursts of energy, innovation and technical expertise.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of building and scaling a world-changing product from the ground up, in collaboration with a passionate team of brilliant engineers and entrepreneurs. Welcome!
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, we are looking for someone with a thorough technical background in polymer chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering. In combination with this, you have proven experience in product leadership within conjugated polymers, battery materials or electronic components industries. It's even better if you also have knowledge of battery binder chemistry, electronic coatings and/or functional polymers. Another plus is if you have experience in bringing new products to market, from early-stage R&D to high volume series production. Additionally, it is beneficial if you have experience in IP management, regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
On the personal side, you have a natural ability to smoothly lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across R&D, production and commercial teams. You are open, curious and analytical and enjoy going into depth on what the market needs by participating in customer meetings, trade shows, reading reports and staying up to date. With your strategic thinking and business focused mindset, you can think long-term about customer needs and the evolving market. You take initiative, drive decisions, and maintain a can-do approach through challenges, inspiring your team members to stay motivated and focused on the goal.
Do you feel like you are not a perfect match to the above? Apply anyway, and we will assess whether your profile is relevant, either now or in the future.
What we offer
At n-ink, you get more than just a job - you get an opportunity to grow, develop, and be part of something big.
