We offer an exciting and challenging job opportunity, in an international environment as CAO - Chief Accountant Officer (Koncernredovisningschef), USS United Shipping Services AB situated in our Head Office in Gothenburg.
You will be entrusted the overall responsibility for the USS corporate accounts, including all the subsidiaries in the USS group. We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic person with a passion for numbers, good communication skills and a sociable approach to your colleagues. Your tasks will include responsibility for the company's accounts, closing and producing of the corporate annual report, as well as issuance of corresponding declarations to Swedish authorities. You will also have the function as our internal resource center within the organization, regarding general accounting-, and tax related issues, acting as liaison with our auditors and the Swedish tax authorities.
Regarding your qualifications, you should have a Bachelors' degree (Civilekonom), specialized as accountant / auditor. You should have at least 5 year of relevant experience, preferably from an international work environment. Demonstrated experience as auditor will be positively valued. You must be an advanced user of MS Excel software (required). The company's financial reporting system is OCRA.
We are looking for a proactive person, a problem solver with good teaching skills and a "straight to the point" communicator using words as well as numbers. The CAO will take part as a member in the "USS Central Finance" group, the Financial management team in The USS Group. You will also take part in - and also manage several administrative projects aimed to improve the group's performance and efficiency.

Good communications skills (English) as well as team work abilities are crucial to be able to function in our international environment, both geographically and culturally.
