About you
You have 5+ years with increased responsibility in relevant business steering or finance related field and previous experience in business performance management, corporate finance and/or financial management, preferably in a multinational organization. You have the ability to communicate confidently in English (both spoken and written) and have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Business / Finance / Economics or a related field.
You have a good knowledge of project management processes, including methods and tools and how to integrate them. You also have a good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide ranging application in business context. You have experience in data analysis, developing metrics and projections based on analysis results. You have a comprehensive understanding of how to structure data and information to ensure reliable, accessible and relevant information. You can translate figures and data and present them in a simple and creative way.
As a person you are flexible, multi-task, fast learner and pro-active, comfortable handling unclear or unpredictable situations; you can work under pressure, meet required deadlines and know how to prioritise your work. In other words, you are a passionate and hands on professional with a strong sense of urgency and a solution focused approach. You strive to meet quality standards and produce quality work products.
You are an open minded team player, with good communication skills that help you to navigate through the different levels of the organization and build strong relationships. You enjoy working, collaborating and co-creating in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional, multicultural and multinational environment.

About the job
The vision of the Business Steering function is to provide a state-of-the art business steering for Ingka Group, capturing real time & predictive opportunities and securing the right resources in the right place, delivering the highest value impact.
We want to steer our business with more speed and accuracy, take and implement decisions faster, respond faster to deviations and secure compliance. We want to be equipped with the right data, advanced analytics and competences to make data-driven decisions.
We steer and secure profitable long-term growth in the omnichannel context, by enabling better business decisions, securing effectiveness and efficiency and leading in accordance with financial and business strategies. This includes securing (financial) business performance, and a safe and secure environment in compliance with laws, policies, standards and processes.
Business Steering is divided in different areas, amongst which, Value Creation and Investment Management. The Business analyst we are recruiting will be part of the Group Functions Steering team within the Value Creation and Investment Management.
The Group Business Steering Business Analyst is a member of one of the functional areas within Group Business Steering, working together with Group Business Navigators and BS Business Partners, contributing to the development of the functional agenda across Ingka.
More specifically, this means you will:
• Prepare, distribute and communicate holistic, reliable and relevant analyses, insights, plans and recommendations, working closely with key stakeholders
• Support the Business Navigators and other stakeholders by maximising the use of existing reports, and creating new reports/tools where needed
• Contribute to the development of business opportunities, projects, business initiatives, new technologies and innovations with a broad total performance perspective and business case thinking
• Develop and implement new ways of steering and measuring the business in a changing omnichannel business environment
• Assess trends, business opportunities, (new) ways of working and risks, and advise on actions for improvement in a clear and inspiring way
• Contribute to the implementation of Ingka Financial Strategy, planning, resource allocation and performance management
• Monitor and steer business and operational activities in order to fulfil goals for relevant stakeholders
• Maintain, coordinate and produce assigned financial plans, budgets and forecasts, further develop parts of the business performance management framework, maintain and develop investment plans and connected tools, processes and working methods
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most applicable and cost-effective solutions
• Contribute to the development of global business information solutions as formats, evaluation of business opportunities, ad hoc reports, and support the business by providing simulations, scenarios and forecast
