Who we are
The purpose for Volvo Cars Service Business (VCSB) is to enable a hassle-free consumer experience and drive loyalty through high quality and cost-efficient premium service operations. At Service Business Development within VCSB, we are looking for a Business Performance Analyst to join the team in our efforts to grow business performance through data analytics and business intelligence. As we are in a massive commercial transformation journey, you will be part of securing a future-proof profitable service business.
Scope of the position
You will be a key player in enabling service business to enhance business performance through the aid of reports, data driven insights and business intelligence. Your contributions will be essential in order to challenge, plan, measure and monitor efficiency and success of different business activities.
This is a high-impact role offering an opportunity to provide the business with critical view of its performance, drive and influence critical decisions impacting the business and advise the leadership across Volvo Cars Service Business globally.
What you'll do
With the help of advanced business and data analysis you will provide strategic insights, hypotheses and conclusions such as:
• Identifying potentials for various business areas, business models and stakeholders (e.g. regions, markets, retailers)
• Supporting business and product owners as well as regions in target setting, revenue and profit analysis
• Identify patterns and deficiencies in order to maximize profit potentials
• Creation of business reports and dashboards
• Support various stakeholders and projects with data driven insights, analysis and business cases
You will find opportunities, competitive and industry trends, and needed changes for our business. You will identify actions and create plans to continuously improve processes, data quality and systems. In addition, the role will lead or help drive cross-functional projects to prepare our business for the future.
Who you are
We are looking for an experienced business analyst with a strong business acumen and a curious and positive mindset. You are result-driven and execution-focused with a "can-do-attitude". High problem solving skills is important and you always strive to find new creative ways of doing things. You have the possibility of explaining complex business context in a simple manner. Collaboration is a necessity and of course, you feel comfortable working with tools like Power BI and advanced Excel.
