Husqvarna Division is searching for a Business Development Director - a leading role supporting the Division's ongoing transformation towards customer centricity and leadership in Robotics as well as innovative solutions and services. The incumbent will be instrumental in driving the strategy implementation and refinement as well as ongoing transformation programs within the Division. Job scope:
Strategic leadership & business development
Act as strategic partner and trusted advisor to President and Division leadership team
Drive/support continued strategic development and progress of Husqvarna Division business
Drive strategic agenda/process within Division and challenge Division/functional leadership with outside perspectives, best practice and forward thinking

Oversee and coordinate Strategy implementation, Transformation programs and Division-wide projects
Follow-up of progress and execution of larger strategic initiatives, identification of deviations and corrective actions
Build program infrastructure to drive larger transformation program(s)
Support and at times lead Division-wide/cross-functional projects

Shape the M&A agenda and execution
Develop and evolve M&A agenda for Division
Lead Division M&A activities in collaboration with Group BD/M&A
Co-lead post-acquisition integration with and through other Division leaders

Candidate profile:
Relevant academic degree with a minimum of 8 years' relevant work experience
Preferred MBA or related advanced degree
Preferred work experience coming from top tier management consulting and/or Private Equity role with strategic/operational focus
Complemented Consulting/PE background with international business experience, ideally in a functional and/or Strategy/Business development leadership role
A background and/or exposure to consumer durables and/or industrial products/services may be an advantage

Proven track record
Demonstrated ability to drive holistic strategic process and direction, from situation assessment to implementation planning including change management
Systems thinker, able to manage a high degree of complexity and to distill information into simple messages, with ability to think both strategically at a global level as well as functional/local
Proven track record in managing several stakeholders in matrix organizations demonstrating organizational savviness and strong relationship building skills

Communication & coordination skills
Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple high-profile projects of varying timelines simultaneously
Financial background or analytical orientation allowing ability to distill complex information and communicate to others in a manner that is easy to comprehend
Exceptional cross-organization coordination and communication skills including ability to build comprehensive and compelling presentation and
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to build trust, influence, and foster relationships with diverse team members; ability to leverage relationships to drive implementation success/delivery

Driving change
Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership on complex business topics.
Proven success in influencing/driving change on local and global level, individual and organizational level
Keen to "dive deep, roll up the sleeves" and the same time able to zoom out and keep helicopter perspective

Ability and willingness to travel ( approx. 25 % travel expected for role)

Fluent in English, Swedish and German is a Plus, other languages are welcome
