To one of our clients within the retail industry we are now looking for a Business Controller within the IT Department, primarily to the Sales Online & Marketing and Business Support Function divisions.
As a Business Controller, you will work with financial management and follow-up in the Division and you will have responsibility for a specific area. You will have contact with many different people and roles within the company which requires that you lead by example and in accordance with our company values. With a focus on cost consciousness, you contribute to the Division's ability to function in the most efficient possible manner.
Example of work tasks:
• Budget responsibility for your area
• Responsible for analyzing and explaining financial differences and their impact on the business
• Active leadership with overall responsibility for controlling service areas
• Work with financial planning, follow-up and budgeting of IT costs and resources
• Invoice handling
• Undertake analysis and investigations which contribute to our efficiency and cost consciousness
• Support and control of agreements, purchases and vendor relations
• Participate in the development of the processes and routines for the controlling function
• Informing and educating those with budget responsibility in relation to financial planning, follow-up and budgeting, as well as controlling processes and routines

Qualifications:
We are looking for a person with a relevant academic degree and at least two years' experience working as a controller. You should be driven with high analytical skills and the ability to balance the need for detailed information and the holistic view. You are an advanced user in MS Excel, experienced in analyzing figures using functions such as pivot tables. If you have work experience from IT and/or from purchases and contract handling it's an advantage. You should be fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
As a person you are a team player. You are focused on quality, have a structured way of working and take responsibility. In additional you are curious, pro-active and have a drive to constantly improve and achieve your goals. Finally you like working in a changing environment and you are a good communicator.
