About the job
As a Business Controller at Operational Excellence & Logistics you will act as a business partner and control and support the improvement of operational performance. It means having one foot in Operational Excellence & Logistics and one foot in the wider Controlling Team where you will be responsible for securing the financial control within Operations of Husqvarna Division.
Your main responsibility include controlling the logistics spend and inventory development within the Husqvarna Division including analyzing financial data, reporting progress towards commitments and follow-up of non-financial KPI:s. With your analyzes you will support business with sound financial judgement and evaluate proposed projects.
Other work duties:
Drive budget- and forecast processes within supply chain
Continuously improve data quality related to the supply chain financial follow up.
Mentor the Supply Chain team to promote a better understanding of financial tools and metrics, conduct trainings and establish guidelines
Prepare for and be an active participant in Ops reviews
Take active part in group wide projects in the area of controlling
You will report to Sara Thored, Director EPAC Finance Husqvarna Division with an operational dotted line to Mats Johansson, VP Operations Excellence & Logistics, Husqvarna Division.
Relevant background
Minimum of 5-10 years' experience from operational finance
Master's degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Progressive experience in Accounting/Finance including cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
Fluent in English
Advanced excel skills, ERP/MRP proficiency (preferably JDE/SAP), Power BI is a plus
Related experience in a manufacturing/logistics environment is meritorious
Experience in a multi-national organization is desired

As this person will support and cooperate closely with different functions we believe you have good collaborations skills and feel comfortable having many contacts within the organization.
