Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Are you skilled in simplifying complex logistics processes and excited about driving innovation in business? We're looking for someone to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the transformation journey at Scania Logistics Inbound process. Your role will help us meet new challenges and capitalize on exciting opportunities in our global production system.
We're committed to building a future that is focused on efficiency, transparency, and smart automation. At the heart of this vision is the integration of advanced digital tools, fostering seamless coordination between people and processes for effective, data-driven decisions. Come be a part of our journey to develop a top-tier sustainable global production system that's as intelligent as it is efficient.
What we offer
We can offer you a wide, challenging and developing position in an exciting phase where we have many initiatives during the next five to six years, that will influence the design and implementation of a new business architecture together with new IT solutions. These initiatives are kept together by the NOVA Program (New Order to deliVery Architecture). The focus and attention from Scania's top management as well as their expectations of our results are high.
Your main responsibilities as a Business Architect are to manage the business demands and challenges worldwide through the composition of process, information and IT-systems. Identifying what needs to change and by this create the foundation for the desired business effects.
You will work closely with colleagues from business and IT, Solution Architects, process experts and project managers. You will build your global network by meeting different people and cultures which means that the job includes travelling.
Typical tasks include describing and analysing business processes; their interfaces, information and how these can be improved and benefit from technology and support our direction for transparency and data driven decisions end-to-end. You also govern the project portfolio within your area.
As a group member of VEIO you will participate in, and contribute to our own department development and improvement work. You will be part of a team of business architects who support each other, balance the workload between each other when needed and cooperate on the improvements of the way of working.
Your Profile
As a person you are a self-driven curious team player and have a genuine interest to understand the business from a holistic perspective. You have the ability to describe and explain complex structural and organisational relationships in an understandable way. Utilising established methodologies and your influencing skills to get buy-in on what that needs to be addressed and drive change throughout the implementation phase.
We believe that you have a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, or possess a comparable educational background. We also welcome those with demonstrated experience in business architecture. Working in the area between business and IT requires that you understand and can handle both perspectives.
You have a good level in facilitating meetings and you 're structured, pedagogic and communicative.
It is meriting if you have knowledge and experience in Business Modelling to capture the business demands on IT solutions, but if you have the interest and experience of developing processes, we believe that the skill of capturing and defining IT requirements could be developed when you grow into your position.
To succeed in the role, you need social and analytic skills. You are used to take own initiatives to create and maintain structures. You want to create an overall perspective and see the complete picture. You also have a talent for visualising this picture for the involved colleagues and stake holders.
You are fluent in English.
