At the moment we are looking for new employees who wants to work with business development in various sub processes within Research and Development (R&D) at Scania. We have the mission of assisting our R&D customers with business improvement work in both process development, methodology and IT solutions. We work together with business representatives and other partners in cross-functional improvement groups and in projects / assignments, all in order to facilitate operations to develop the world's best products and services. Product development develops rapidly within Scania and it is important that the working methods and IT support are constantly improved and adapted to current and future needs.
The work assignment
The role provides a breadth between two areas; the role as a Business IT Analyst and as Business Developer.
You will be involved in an early stage and identify needs, detail and demand the needs. It involves proactively identifying and analyzing the needs of improvements, as well as developing concepts and solutions. Furthermore, it means prioritizing and coordinating assignments and resources for the area and leading cross-functional improvement groups. The work is being done as assignments, pre-studies and projects, together with business representatives and other parties.
You are also responsible for a part of the R&D follow-up process as a Business IT Analyst for the needs that arise, on the data warehouse that we are supporting together with our IT provider; Scania IT. The data warehouse is a logical, coherent collection of data from different sources, organized to provide useful guidance, intended for follow-up and analysis of various business areas, cross-functional within Scania. Your primary task is to identify the needs of the business, translate these into requirements, to get the right information about our products and to make the right decisions within the Product Development Process and the projects.
Your profile
You have an academic education or equivalent knowledge.
You have experience in work in similar areas.
Data warehouse and Business Intelligence knowledge are meritorious.
You have experience in business development, process modelling and requirement handling.
You are full of energy and think it's fun with process improvement work and IT.
We write and speak both in Swedish and English.
German is meritorious.
