From the end of 2016, Orkla founded OIS (Orkla International Sales) department and started global expansion with various brands to the selected markets. Asia, as one of the fastest growing regions in the world, has been an essential region to grow Orkla's business outside Nordic region. In Asia, OIS selected China, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam as our key markets.
In order to succeed in launching our heritage Nordic brands into the Asian markets, we are now seeking a young talent whose task is to support our global brand manager to adapt brands into the selected Asian markets including doing research, brand building, concept generating, trade marketing material preparation, and marketing strategy etc.
Key responsibility
Support global brand manager to do research, define and design brand guideline, design product packaging mock-ups and prepare for brand tool box.
Design and translate trade marketing materials into English and Mandarin.
Manage the deliveries from local agency in Nordics and Asia (mainly China and South Korea).
Support China and South Korean team in preparing local POSM, communication tools to enable a successful launching of the various brands.
Qualifications
More than 1 year work experience in graphic design, product design and marketing.
Master's degree with design background. Relevant experience may compensate for other educational backgrounds.
Strong hands-on capability of using software such as Autodesk Maya, Keyshot, Rhinoceros, Auto CAD, Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc.
Must be fluent in Mandarin and English with both reading and written skills. Fluent in Korean will be a plus.
Innovative, creative, independent and willing to take responsibility
Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
The team is located at Orkla's headquarter at Skøyen in Oslo and this position is located in Kungälv, Sweden. Some travelling will be required.
