The Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join its Secretariat. We are recruiting an Assisting Communications Manager. Duties and responsibilities: The Assisting Communications Manager will be responsible for the communication and outreach of the Foundation. She/he manages external communications, publications, outreach to the press and identified target groups and content development in multiple communication channels. The Assisting Communications Manager supports programme outputs to external stakeholders and partners.

Requirements and qualifications:
A degree in journalism, media, communication or similar. At least five years of progressively responsible and relevant professional work experience in developing and implementing communication and advocacy strategies and projects. Excellent English language communications skills: strong writing, editing and presenting skills. Working knowledge of Swedish. Understanding of and experience with international development issues. Experience with the UN and other international development agencies will be a merit. Understanding of and experience with all channels of communications across platforms. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. Computer skills - experience with website maintenance and knowledge of WordPress, InDesign and photo editing software will be a merit.

Selected candidates will be employed by the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation following Swedish labour laws. Remunerations will be competitive based on the Swedish market and will be subject to Swedish income tax.
