Financial Advisory operates with five main areas: MA Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Valuation Modelling, Integration Separation Services, and MA Strategy Value Creation Services.
Within MA Strategy Value Creation Services, we are looking for a senior professional primarily focused on operational due diligence and value creation to join our cross-Nordic team in Stockholm.

In Deloitte MA Strategy Value Creation Services, we help private equity and corporate clients succeed with their investments and growth initiatives across the Nordics. We provide highly customized strategic commercial and operational insights as well as structured and pragmatic advice to companies in challenging situations. The focus of this role is Value Creation Services (VCS) and to support our clients in driving results that unlock cash and enhance profits in acquisitions, divestments and transformation. In this, we offer strategic advice to Private Equity and Corporate clients regarding operational performance improvement yielding rapid and radical results, commonly in the context of an MA event or in a distressed situation requiring operational turnaround.

What will be your role?
As a senior member in our Value Creation Services team you will be responsible of handling the day-to-day project management of our engagements and pitches. The role will also involve working with new and existing clients in identifying and selling work in our main core offerings operational due diligence and value creation projects.
Core elements of the role include: Efficiently managing and supporting the delivery of operational due diligence and value creation projects, often with two or more project teams running in parallel, including; Identifying performance improvement hypotheses and opportunities in cost base and working capital;
Planning, preparing and performing the supporting analyses;
Leading interviews with industry experts, competitors, suppliers, customers, and management to gain deep insights into these areas;
Elaborating a sound and meaningful storyline based on the analyses carried out by the team;
Managing and coordinating project's deliverable together with the rest of the team;
Presenting project findings to senior clients stakeholders;
Develop and coach team members to support their professional growth;
Building strong client relationships and engaging autonomously with clients in project and pitch situations, when required;
Building, developing and shaping a highly successful new service offering together with the team's leadership.
To succeed in the role, you'll have Solid knowledge of delivering operational MA services (i.e. operational due diligence and value creation projects) from a leading strategy firm, a boutique, or a big 4 firm
Deep understanding of operational functions (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, sourcing procurement) as well as business support functions, and the ability to quickly develop a solid view of the their impact in the client's industry context
8+ years of relevant work experience
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in leading teams, including teams with junior team members
Comfortable with working in a transaction environment with senior management and executives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English for the purposes of clearly communicating to clients, stakeholders and teams
Strong academic background
