www.fingerprints.comFPC is seeking one ASIC Quality Coordinator to strengthen our ASIC team in developing new methods, processes and documentations to keep Fingerprints continue to produce ASIC designs of the highest quality.
FPC is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices.
The role
The position of ASIC Quality Coordinator includes working in close cooperation with colleagues both inside the ASIC group and other groups inside or outside of FPC. The position will help the existing ASIC group with methods, processes and quality coordination to meet future demands for fingerprint systems. In FPC you will be able to work with projects from idea to proven silicon in a dynamic environment. You will be involved in the system design, modelling, schematic design, layout, verification, and silicon verification to secure and improve the existing way of work. An important part of the position is to communicate both inside and outside FPC. For the right person this is an opportunity to develop and optimize all methods and processes in the area of ASIC development inside FPC.
We are seeking for both senior and junior candidates for the positions.
You will be given opportunities to affect the work and the final product by your own ideas. You are also most likely to use your drive and commitment to implement your ideas together with your colleagues.
The work location is Gothenburg or as agreed between FPC and the candidate.
International travel to FPC suppliers, partners, and customers may occur.
Your background
This role requires at least a Master of Science in Engineering, such as in electronics, physics, computer science or the equivalent, you can be newly graduated as well as if you have several years of occupational experience of similar fields to apply for this position.
You need to be fluent in spoken and written English and not opposed to traveling abroad.
Success in this role requires:
• Knowledge and experience of ASIC development from requirement specification to maintenance using modern methods and processes.
• Experience of using configuration management, product handling and electronic document management systems.
• Good knowledge and experience of GIT and other version handling system.
• Good knowledge of using bug/issue reporting systems e.g. JIRA.
Preference will be given to those who also have experience in at least some of the following areas, please name the areas in which you have experience/knowledge in your application:
• ISO 9000/Six Sigma
• Scrum, Kanban, Agile etc.
• Digital design and verification
• VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog
• In depth understanding of chip top level layout
• Mixed-signal simulation and design
• Matlab
• MMSIM
• VerilogA/verilogAMS
• Synthesis/place-and-route/STA
• ASIC Technology knowledge
• Design for test/ATPG
You also have essential qualities such as being ambitious, motivated and flexible. You need to be comfortable working in a growing company, where you will be expected to assume considerable personal responsibility for your own activities and the company's success. This also requires you to be a team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere in the workplace.
