The position focuses on indoor-climate and daylight assessments of building envelopes. The candidate should have a basic background in building physics and a strong interest on developing advanced methods and applying them in real life design. Understanding of design issues is essential for delivering solutions to architects and clients and therefore such interest will be appreciated. The candidate will work in a diverse team and have opportunities to explore technical problems and add value to real life design. The solutions he/she will deliver will be related to facade issues and will compliment the building performance.
Inform Design AB is a newly founded consulting practice, initiated in January 2017. Our field of work is in Facades, Building Physics and Indoor Climate assessments with an emphasis on highly glazed constructions.
Our goal is to add value in projects by suggesting facade options that serve design and ensure enhanced envelope and building performance. Although our services focus on facades, they further extend to building physics and indoor climate assessments. Our role in projects is twofold: (a) qualify and quantify alternatives suggested by designers, assess their performance and communicate the benefits of each option (b) get actively involved in the creative process by suggesting options that can improve performance, compliment design and keep quality and costs to satisfactory levels.
