As our quest to democratize financial services continues at blazing speed, our Business Solutions Alliance is looking for an Application Manager with a good deal of experience in Agile environments to join our Operational Systems Area.
In this role, you will be in charge of sharpening business processes and support a wide range of critical projects and tools by managing improvement, implementation and maintenance of the applications used at Zettle. In this spirit, you will lead multiple initiatives and enable our product development by closely collaborating with vendors and business teams.
A glimpse of what you would be doing here
You mission, should you accept it, will consist in supporting business goals and require to develop a thorough understanding of processes including:
Change management.
Problem escalation to external vendors and internal partners.
Interface to vendor problem reporting tools and information.
Training and documentation.
Software Procurement.
Vendor Management, Risk Management, Security and Compliance.
You will also guide the teams through technical dependencies and business processes needed to apply the right applications to the right problems.
Works with stakeholders and users to unify and improve efficiency of application usage
Has close contact with other supporting teams such as Legal, Finance and Security
Prepares business case for technology solutions
Leverages existing tools when they are a viable solution
Assists in the evaluation of new tools
Supports application integration and implementation projects
As an active contributor in vendor product enhancement, you will be responsible for the:
Prioritization of vendor enhancements in conjunction with the business stakeholders.
Review of proposed vendor product enhancements to determine their price and suitability.
Identification and communication of enhancements to the user community.
Transition of solution enhancements to the production environments.
Lastly, you will evaluate and share information related to solution performance by comparing anticipated benefits with actual benefits realised by:
Developing solution performance metrics.
Evaluating actual cost.
Enables software budgeting and forecasting related to licensing, increased fees, headcount and adoption.
Preparing cost and benefit analysis.
Reporting metrics based on solution functionality and user acceptance.
The Experience to Succeed:
Good experience in business or engineering process management with a related degree or substantial work experience in these areas if non-related degree.
Practical know-how in software applications management and working within Agile teams.
The Skills & Abilities to Exceed:
Goals are set individually in collaboration with the Tech Manager and the teams supported.
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated record of establishing effective working relationships with diverse vendors and functions.
Ability to communicate effectively and articulately in both oral and written communication
Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
Thriving in a fast-paced environment while driving multiple engagements and workstreams simultaneously
