Your challenge - and what you can expect
You will find yourself at the very forefront of the electronics industry and take on an important role with your application engineering competence. It is your mission to be the primary technical resource for the field sales force, and be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
You will be part of an international team acting as technical advisor and product advocate. You work with colleagues from different functions and cultures to be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction.
This means that you will
• Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge
• Provide design and specification development support to customers, integrators, and distributors
• Perform technical/product/process training for sales people and engineers at targeted accounts
• Assist in the design and development of new products and processes necessary to make target accounts comfortable and successful
• Listen, understand and convey customer requirements
• Travel to project sites to preform start-up, integration, and training services
• Facilitate application development efforts to accommodate Mycronic's dispensing roadmap
• Develop experiments and process development methods and models that assure high quality outputs of new dispensing processes and successful customer demonstrations.
• Support strategic efforts for sales, marketing and new product engineering groups as required. These activities include providing support at tradeshows, technology days, technical seminars, etc.
• Closely collaborate with other applications engineers in HQ Stockholm and other regions. Collaboration includes sharing of key customer requirement, feedback on existing equipment and overall market trend for dispensing processes.
• Closely manage jet printing, dispensing and coating demo labs assets, consumables and expenses according to company policies.

On top of this, you need:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Software, Material science, or equivalent
• Experience in application development and engineering,
• Operational competence and experience in design, implementation and testing of dispensing or coating applications for machines and user applications
• Very good communication skills in English is a must, other language skills are qualifying.
