The section Active Safety Sensor and System Analysis & Verification is responsible for complete sensor and system verification for customer functions related to Active Safety for example: Autonomous Driving, City Safety, Auto brake with pedestrian detection and Adaptive cruise control. Within active safety different sensor technologies are used, such as cameras and radars. Information from different sensors can be fused in order to improve information of the vehicle surroundings. As Analysis Engineer within Active Safety you are responsible for verifying sensor performance. You have a mathematic approach and an analysis capability on which you base your test methodology and data collection.
Main responsibilities
• Lead and plan the sensor verification
• Participate in the development of the sensor, both internal and in discussion with suppliers
• Responsible for development of new test methods
• Prepare and perform the testing
• Analysis of test result and communication of results to involved parties
• Participate in field expeditions where the sensor is tested in different environments
Required qualifications
• Minimum a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Mechatronics, Electronics or Physics
• Former experience from working with one or more of these areas: sensor development, radar antenna or image processing is meritorious
• You have experience from working with Matlab
• Meritorious is programming languages such as: C++, .Net, Java mf.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• A valid drivers license is a must due to much of the verification is performed in vehicle
Personal qualities
• Have the ability to independently develop, plan, conduct and follow up work towards objectives
• Good analytical skills with a mathematic approach
• Structured and focused on methodologies
• Good communication skills and a networking personality
