We are now looking for a Advanced Test Engineer in a Vehicle Motion department!

Description

You will be part of the Vehicle Motion Simulation & Test team, which is one of four teams within the Vehicle Motion organization. The focus for Vehicle Motion is on the increasing role of software to control the vehicle's 6 degrees of freedom. Not only according to the driver's intent, but also in response of the vehicle's environment/surroundings, as well as to other systems. This includes, but is not limited to, functionalities related to Longitudinal and Lateral Motion such as propulsion, Braking, Stability and Steering Control, Energy Management and Energy Distribution and you will also be part of the journey to develop ADAS functionalities and autonomous drive vehicles. All with the focus on combine an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well as user convenience.

As a Vehicle Motion Advanced Test Engineer you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together develop MIL and HIL test environments, and perform tests in these environments. The team is also working closely together with system engineers and developer of Control Systems.



The role as an Advanced Test Engineer involves:

- Define and investigate what HIL test environment to use for our own development Control Systems
- Configure and set up Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL systems
- Develop test methods and test cases, including automatic test cases
- Execute test cases, analyze results and write test reports & issue reports
- Support in the development of requirements on vehicle/system and component level
- Develop work processes and structures for HIL test environments
- Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Experience in HIL testing of Control System within Automotive
- Experience in embedded software testing, preferably in continuous testing/automated software testing and agile development
- Experience of testing different functions, diagnostics, communication, CAN interface, etc.
- Experience of configuration of Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL system
- Experience in tools like Canoe, System Weaver, CarMaker, NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, LabView, Matlab/Simulink
- Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Flexible to a changing work environment
- Driver license B for vehicle
