In this job, you'll get the possibility to be a part of driving the Procurement transformation both within Scania and TRATON to enable our future ways of working.
During 2024 the current manager will be on parental leave and we are looking for her successor during this time.
The mission
The team Procurement Digitalization and Systems works at the intersection of Business and IT, and our mission is to create an excellent user experience for Procurement employees, Scania/TRATON users, and suppliers. Our team of 8 is responsible for all the main Procurement systems and is leading a number of digitalization initiatives. We continuously develop the Procurement IT roadmap with a strategic view, and our operational deliveries focus on improving existing, and developing new digital tools. We are business developers, product owners, project managers, and data specialists.
Scania Procurement is undergoing a business transformation, implementing a new System Landscape based on SAP. The aim is to enable seamless end-to-end process flows, reduce manual workload, and utilize the power of data for better decision-making. Within this journey, the Digitalization and Systems team will be a significant player in securing a solid data foundation and best-of-breed solutions to maximize leverage within the Procurement organization.
The leadership
As a leader you work closely with the team, using the Scania leadership principles. In our team, we strive to create an inclusive and positive environment. The management team
You will be a part of the management team consisting of the Head of Business Development and Digitalization department, four group managers, and a project manager. We work closely together as our departments' tasks are interlinked. Together we strive to have scalable and automized solutions for all our business development initiatives.
We support and challenge each other to ensure we all grow as leaders, and we are happy to have a climate where transparency is the foundation of all our discussions.
Your profile
Most important of all, you excel in empowering people and driving towards tangible business outcomes through the team. You probably have experience in driving transformation and digitalization initiatives successfully in a global context.
You are brave and great in leading change. You constantly challenge the way we are working and strive to improve your own way of leading yourself and others. As a leader, you communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial in driving the development of both team and individuals.
